RIDGEFIELD, WA January 31, 2011: The 2012 Miss Vancouver Rodeo Queen, Larissa Marini of Battle Ground, Washington, will be joining the Riverview Community Bank Clark County Fair Court at the WA State Horse Expo. Queen Larissa, Queen Marisa Hermance, Princess Alexa Valdez and Princess Sierra Durado will be greeting visitors to the Expo. They will also be at the Kids Corral coloring and entertaining the children who come visit the show.
 
 
RIDGEFIELD, WA January 19, 2011: Richard Shrake, "The Horseman's Horseman," will be joining the cast of top national, regional and local presentators at the WA State Horse Expo. According to Shrake, "Resistance Free® methods have been a life-long process for me to be able to share with you the knowledge of patience, kindness and obedience when working with horses and riders. I have trained and instructed for over 40 years and my goal is to pass this on to all horse people who want a program that work for them and their horse."

Shrake is the creator of Resistance free® Riding and Training methods, and Resistance Free® Certified Instructors Program. He is a licensed and approved judge for five major horse breeds, including l6 World Championship shows. He has also coached/instructed over 40 World Championship riders. And as a rider, was a winner at All American Quarter Horse Congress.

 
 
RIDGEFIELD, WA December 21, 2011: The Second Annual Washington State Horse Expo is scheduled for February 17–19, 2012 in Ridgefield Washington at the Clark County Event Center (CCEC). CCEC and On Horses Promotions bring an exciting lineup of America’s top equine educators and performers from across the country, including; Craig Cameron, Steve Rother, Craig Stevens and Allison Trimble. Topics range from Classical Dressage and Obstacle Training to Cowhorse and Reining instruction.

Be romanced by the majestic Andalusian and Friesian horses of Feather Dance Entertainment. Other special events include: “Meet the Clinicians” at the Double J Arena, 8:00pm on Friday, Feb. 17th. Equine Extravaganza features a variety of equine performances, 8:00pm Saturday night. There is a Ranch Sorting Clinic on Thursday, Feb. 16th and a Ranch Sorting Jack Pot, Friday morning. See "All the Beautiful Horses” in the Hall of Breeds and in the Breed Parade Saturday and Sunday.

ANNOUNCEMENT December 21, 2011: Kids Activities—Horsemanship activities will be offered to kids by the Clark County Executive Horse Council and Royal Ridges Retreat throughout the weekend at and around their booth spaces as well as in the east arena.
