The first really good one we bought in 1999 at the "Best of the Remudas" sale at the R. A. Brown Ranch in Throckmorton, Texas.

The first really good one we bought in 1999 at the "Best of the Remudas" sale at the R. A. Brown Ranch in Throckmorton, Texas. She' s a gorgeous blueborn, grown and reared by Haythorn Land and Cattle Co. in Ogallala, Nebraska. As part of the "Best of the Remudas" sale in 2001, we bought a black mare from Drifts Chip at 6666's Ranch in Guthrie, Texas.

In 2003, at the third sale of "Best of the Remudas" at Stuart Ranch in Waurika, Oklahoma, we bought another Haythorn foal from Figure Four Fritz, who is a full sibling to the one we had acquired in 1999. On the same date we could also buy a grey filly from Pitchfork Land and Cattle Co. in Guthrie, Texas.

They were the first three to receive the prestigious "Best of the Remudas" award. Some of them are Valentines in colour. Among our St. Valentines are a grandchild and a grandchild of Valentines herself. Both of them are from Leo Hancock Hayes, the only child of Blaue Valentine's who produces youngsters all over the time.

The Valentines are about as diverse to work on the farm as you can find them.
