At Royal Ascot she won the race and had an accident. I' m watching the race, it was Graet. Belmont and she was YouTube Video Beeders Cup 10 Greatest Champ. I' ve got a goddamn damn equine like her! It was a real long runner who won the Melbourne Cups three times in a row (3200 meters / 2 miles).
This is a precedent that has not been achieved in 157 years of racing. A mare who wins the BBC twice would be the same. Had she not died at the tender ages of 2, Landaluce would have been the biggest fillies of all times.... She was a legend mare, Sceptre. Winners of not one, not two, but FOUR classic UK titles (2000 Guineas, 1000 Guineas, Oaks and St. Leger and 4th in the Derby, although remaining at the beginning), a performance that would be outrageous today.
However, I respectfully believe that all these US horses in the top 10 were very specific, but Sceptre is something else. As the only four classic winning straight away, Sceptre also demonstrated that she could beat the opposite gender several rounds, winning the St James' Palace Stakes, the Hardwicke Stakes at Royal Ascot and the Champion Stakes at the age of four.
It really amazed me that this excellent mare was not on this roster because she is one of the best in it. The number of times she has won in such a hurry to gain is the defining "courage", and it is likely that we will never again see a winning four classic-horses.
