Tack Store new fundraisers for the horse

Olympic Peninsula Equine Network is opening its new Western Treasures and Used Tack Store at 251 Roupe Road in Sequim-Dungeness Valley today, May 9th. Since its foundation in 2006, the non-profit Olympic Peninsula Equine Network (OPEN) has served as a programme for the salvation, rehablitation and mediation of horses.

This is run by a voluntary executive committee and employees who provide education and assistance for fundraising and donation activities. Opens President Valerie Jackson said his used staple store is a new way that the non-profit fund can create to proceed his horse salvation surgery. Each year Jackson said that the OPEN Committee and its members concentrate on a horse friendly work.

The non-profit organization has created a paddock and constructed a barnyard shed. The construction and opening of a used tack store was this year's feat. This new store will provide a wide range of West oriental clothes and jewellery, decoration and horse riding tackle that has been gathered over the years. Every single times the non-profit club had a tack sell, Jackson said, employees had to unwrap and set up an open-air store and redo the operation, but now with a shop window the stock can be displayed all the while.

All" treasures" are to be sold by donations. The name of the store matches the product on offer, Jackson said. "At Western Treasures, you never know what you're gonna find," she said. This 400 square meter timber house was financed by a Gofundme bank balance, which provided $5,000 for the scheme.

This not-for-profit organization said it is continually raising funds and will keep its first charity dances, dinners and fundraisers at $55 per individual from 5-10 am Saturday, June 30, at Fox Bell Farm Weddings & Celebrations, 137 N. Barr Road in Agnew. This non-profit organization also participates in ASPCA's National Help a Horse Day Campaign, a two-month competition that supports the saving of the horse and allows organisations to earn a share of 110,000 dollars in fund.
