Wool and fleece horse blankets

The most common material used for colder carpets is fleece or wooll. There are cool carpets in all possible designs, with or without hoods, with or without hem and in different strengths. Might as well have a cool carpet. You can use a colder carpet to prevent your horse from getting chilly after use. Fleeces and woollen carpets keep your horse in comfort and have moisture-transporting characteristics, so that your horse dries quickly but does not get a chill at low temperature.

Use a fleece or woollen carpet during transportation if an outside or stall blanket would be less apt. When you buy a cold carpet, what do you need to consider? When you want to use a colder carpet for heating and chilling, it is best to use a carpet with removable belts.

When your horse is shorn, we recommend a carpet with a (removable) cowl so that you can also keep it hot in the back of the throat.
