101 Jumping for horse & rider (reading & driving) eBook
As I was beginning to use my present coach Connie Warner (see warnerssporthorses.com), she suggested this one. The former coaches were from "show stables": Get your horse over the highest level as quickly as possible and gain tapes as one. As Connie began to set up these drills, I was amazed - I had never done any kind of exercise before.
Now I can say with certainty that the drills in this Ruby and me really did help with self-confidence, checking (we had problems with screwing after jumps), flexing and texture. As soon as you have mastered the lesson in this manual, you can move things around and make changes fail quickly. Hint: I think the spacing in this volume is adjusted for a very large equestrian track:
So Connie and I are improvising so that this gym fits into our little ring, but we never had any problems with it - we might have to skip a leap, but we did well anyway. You should not try the higher difficulty without the presence of a coach for security reasons.
You can get away with putting your line down a little for a trot pile sequence, but if you intend to jump, you really have to pay attention to your distance. In general, Connie will arrange an excercise for me that I can do with her, then I let her here and do the same during the weeks.
Any good jumper books? Forum for horses and dogs
Normally I don't pose here, but I thought you might all be able to lead me in the footsteps of some good jumping exercises? I' m thinkin' of 101 jumping exercises... but I'm sure it has to be more! All I need is a little concentration on my jumping at home and some new thoughts!
It was more of an all-round trainer than a lot of exercise, but I found it really useful. I have some good practice in it, flat work and jumping. So Ive just purchased these, well worth the cash in my opinion, weights of various drills and all on laminate blades so simple to take down the yard!
Hopefully Ive just purchased these, well well worth the moneys in my mind, lots of various drills and all on laminate blades so simple to take down the Yard! wow Maxine, these look amazing.... I' m really trying to order them, but I only have a 20x40 stadium where I can drive because our pitches are on a mound so I can't really get into them.
Are there any things in there that could go in a 20x40? I guess! One more voice for Paalman's Training Jumping Rider - one of my favorite books! Standing up front, this should not be on every bookshelf, it should be in your hand. wow, that looks awesome.....
