Horse Riding in Tennessee State Parks - Tennessee State Parks

Travel to the pristine scenery of Tennessee on some of the best bridle paths in the world! The Tennessee State Park provides many pleasant places to go riding in the Voluntary State at any season of the year. There are several horse riding and camp sites. Except for Meeman-Shelby Forest State Park, Panther Creek State Park and Big Hill Pond State Park, all riding arenas in State Park are either for hire or guest assistance on the paths operated by the Tennessee Division of Forestry.

Horse riding is also very much appreciated in the Pickett and Hiwassee/Ocoee State Park. Even though these farms do not offer supporting equipment or paths for riding activity, there are also horse rentals in the vicinity. More information on hiking paths and horse ressources can be found at www.picktnproducts.org/farm_fun/equine_res.html.
