Horseback Mountain

Mountain horseback

The Horseback Mountain is a case presented in the Criminal Case as the one hundred thirty-two case of the game. sspan class="mw-headline" id="Plot">Plot[edit] Traveling to see Jack's family, Eric proposes to bring Jack's cinders up the mountain. Allowed by Jack's mom to see Jack's nursery, Jack finds Jack's blood-stained chemise, which he thought he had dropped on Brokeback Mountain. When Alma has gone, Alma goes into his wardrobe, where his and Jack's jerseys are connected, with a Brokeback Mountain card attached over them.

The Brokeback Mountain production costs about 14 million US dollars, without the 5 million US dollar reporting on the bill. Brokeback Mountain had the highest GNP per theatre of all films on Christmas weekends and was regarded as a blockbuster not only in downtown areas such as New York City and Los Angeles, but also in downtown theatres near Portland, Houston, Chicago, Dallas, Denver and Atlanta.

As part of its Brokeback movie growth plan, Focus Features distribution opened in nearly 700 U.S. movie venues on January 13, 2006. It opened on January 20 in 1,194 auditoriums in the United States, on January 27 in 1,652 auditoriums and on February 3 in 2,089 auditoriums, the largest number.

It was shown in 155 theatres in France on 18 January 2006 (258 theatres in the second and 290 theatres in the third week). Brokeback Mountain ranked third in the France box office in the first few weeks after publication, with 277,000 viewers or an estimated 1,787 per annum, the highest number of films in France this year.

More than a million spectators (more than 1,250,000 on March 18) attended one months later, with 168 movie theaters still open (in the tenth week). Published in Italy on 20 January, the movie earned more than 890,000 Euro in just three short weeks and was the country's forth highest movie in its first publication weeks.

From January 17 to January 19, 2006, Brokeback Mountain was the most successful movie in the U.S., perhaps because of its victories at the Golden Globes on January 16. In fact, the movie was one of the five largest movies in the USA every single day from January 17 to January 28, inclusive of the week-end (when more folks go to movies and large-budget movies generally displace stand-alone movies from the best movies list) from January 20 to 22.

On 28 January, the movie dropped out of the first five on that week-end and into 6th place at the evening bar, before returning to the top five on 30 January and staying there until 10 February. Published on January 20, 2006 in Taiwan, where Ang Lee was originally conceived, the movie ran until April 20.

Brokeback Mountain was highly acclaimed by professionals. March 9, 2006 saw a news announcement sent to more than 400 print and online publications saying that nearly $26,000 had been collected for an ad to be published the next morning in the Daily Variety. "It was shown in Lee's home country Taiwan on January 20, 2006 and in Hong Kong on February 23, 2006.
