Inglis tried Horse Sale

lnglis tried to sell horses.

An auction ring is the strongest place to achieve the full potential selling price of a horse. News, results and videos about horse racing In the northern hemisphere, the idea of selling boutiques in combination with a large racing event has been quite successful, with sales such as the Goffs London Sale and the Arqana Arc Sale now held regularly on the evening before Royal Ascot and the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe respectively.

The Inglis staff will do exactly that with the first production of the Chairman's Sale at the Newmarket in Sydney. Separation of the Chairman's sale into two meetings. Elite Racing Prospects will take place on March 30th, two and a half nights before the first championship on the Randwick Racecourse directly opposite the retail area.

It will be completed two working days before the sale, but Jonathan D'Arcy, National Bloodstock Director of Inglis, said it would probably comprise a catalog of "five to 10 high-quality race horses, all or part of which will be available, some of which will have championship records. The Elite Breeding Prospectsession Part II has produced a catalog of 89 brood mares, weaners, and season and stock stallions and is scheduled for April 7th, the date between the end of Easter sales and the second date of the Championships.

D'Arcy said that the Inglis staff considered the potential benefits of selling Arc Sale and Goffs London when they made the choice to try the idea out for themselves and hope to serve the big donors in Sydney during Easter. D'Arcy said that the Chairman's sale was also due to Inglis' agent being flooded with requests for personal purchase.

With the reduction of the Easter catalog by 100 tickets, Inglis has the necessary room to accommodate the extra horse for sale by the chairman. Elite Racing Prospect bids will probably be sold in the absence if they have a championship listing, but "one or two lots" could be present on Thursday night, according to D'Arcy.

Elite Breeding Prospects tickets will be shipped on Monday and Tuesday of the following weeks while Easter sales are in full flow, and as an additional service, the Australian Broodmare and Weanling Sale Apr. 10 to 13 catalog ued horse tickets will be shipped on Friday, April 7, providing a bustling weeks of horse arrivals and departures from the newmarket.
