I have a horse who spends the summers in his flyscarf. Vinny my horse is 15,3 and the 78 suits perfectly. The ceiling is well finished down to the last detail. High-grade switch ceiling. It' well done and the light weight is ideal for Northern California. There is a 15.3 QH horse, which is tough on blankets and has no cracks or upsets.
I' ve ordered the 78 and it' s a good fit. Winny likes his new ceiling. I have a horse who spends the summers in his flyscarf. These blankets are very well finished and trimmed to fit the willowhorse. Looks like something twice as expensive. The higher throat and longer feet are what I especially like for the day when north wind or rains blow.
I' m buying a fleeced lining for the bitterer night of the 1930s and a medium size rug for everything underneath. Describing the paper indicated that it was sturdy and tenable, especially on the Kensington website. I' ve been digging into my pocket and I' m paying a very high rate for it.
It' really appealing; that said, I think one of the other ponies in the switch wanted to take it for himself and left a gashing gap that can only be taped. -One week....not really cheap, but it's handsome and apparently well done. If I hadn't looked, I should have known better, I'm quite sure my horse would take a boxing cutter to all his blankets (we have a fibreglass picket so he won't tear it).
That carpet took 2 moths, and he is not blanked every day, and if he still turned his blankets. When your horse doesn't exercise much with Katana, this should be a good buy for you, otherwise stay with Sires.
