Mountaineering Horse wear - a little swear wound
Well I always say what a Mountain HOrse guy I am, but I really took her shoes off. First OH had some mountain rim chills that gave up the spirit after 3 month - Robinson's was kind enough to replace them, then his zippers went and the skin ripped in his bay high riders (he was buying them at our old yard tackle store and I don't think they would have greeted us with open sleeves to replace them!) so I had to dispose of them, now I just had a couple that's gone - I had them 7 month and I've taken care of them - but the zipper is the zipper - the zipper is gone - I've had them 7 month and I've taken care of them - but the zipper is just gone - Robinson's was kind enough to replace them, then his zippers went and the skin ripped in his bay high riders then ( he was buying them at our old yard tackle store and I don't think they would have greeted us with open sleeves to replace them!)
Will I be irrational or should they last longer, even when it comes to horse clothing? Don't worry, I like my shorts MH boot and fitting stirrup, but I'm sure if you return them through the store or maybe even turn directly to MH, they will be glad to help.
There was a similar issue with my half guys half my love, all the threads they came off on one foot, I only had them 6 months and used them once a week! What a shame! My sister's store where she purchased them was very little helpful and didn't want to take them back, so I sent them directly back to leave no question unanswered.
Well I think they'll try to substitute the zippers - if so, I'd be more than happy with that. It' s just a disgrace because I am now boatless for my housework (won't mess up my best boot in this terrible damp weather!!!!!!!). Zippers mostly, but also soles that come loose.
You have an outstanding level of support, but in my personal opinion I would rather not have to solve a problem every 6 years. I' m a big supporter of MH, but my last rim frost drivers purchased in November are already breaking up - it's just the side patch (where the legs come in touch with the horse), but still my last set was good for a few years.
I' ve been hearing from other folks who say the zippers went in their long MHs. In April OH purchased a couple of small MH Sportif boot and chest warmers and has been wearing them every day without any problem so far. There' s no fucking 3 and 7 month period.
I' d expect to keep MH-kits at least 2 years in steady (i.e. practically daily) use. I' ve also had a little trouble with my long ankle socks. So much do I like my MH so much that I think about paying the 60 to get it repaired...the fractured piece was near the bottom of the boot and the trouble was that the shoemaker's zipper said if I stitched the fractured zipper together and was still able to get the boot on then it would stop the zipper from unpacking, which seems to work.
And I don't know if zippers in other makes of boot also turn out as they just bear out from being used, I think maybe mine went while I was riding in denim and stretched that sort of zipper from that area too. Well, I don't want to pay for mountain horses.
I' ve got a set of cheap love shoes that are four years old now. Well, I don't want to go spending the cash on mountain horses. Good work, I didn't buy the full amount and it was on sale!) I have to find another horse clothing! Hello, my Mountain Horse Boot track has always been quite good, I have a couple of Mountain Horse Boats and I have been wearing them every single weekly for the last 4 years and they are still a lot of lives in them.
Also I have a couple of the sporty high riding competition boot and I find them quite good, although the trouble I find with the long boot is that they are always high, so it pains the back of your back of yourknee but with wear they work themselves properly. Just hit a couple of MH jucker boot because my Loveson boot (which I like as very comfortable and have hook and loop fastener) were wearing every single day for 6 month and most of the time.
ariat for coach, just buy cheapo boot for the summers and carry hunter rubberboots for those damp opportunities in the winters - ive been doing my hunter over 3 years ive rode for leagues in them jumps etc, long farmyard hikes and worked all day long on a hen ranch in a fridge and they show no abrasion, and they're half the cost of MH rimfrosts, i just put some fleecy inlets in them to keep the warmth in.
I' m really mad because I e-mailed Mountain Horse and they totally ignored me!
