Riding Hats 2016

Hats 2016

This is Charles Owen Ayr8 leather look riding cap. BS EN1384 can be worn until December 31, 2016, but not after. Medal winner riding hat But it' s just plain standard, lightweight, but sturdy and working to perfection. I' m also riding and using it to practice for the game. HINT: The original order was a little too big, the next smaller was not available in carbon, so I ordered the carbon, but there are actually no difference between the two colours.

Satisfied with the buy and the service: the replacement.

Change of the hat-rules for 2016

Last year, the EN 1384 was removed from EU legislation. That means that hats manufactured exclusively to this specification may no longer be used at BHS, Pony Club, Riding Clubs, BHS and showjumping shows after 1 January 2016. The hats have to be tagged again next year at BE, the Pony Club and the Britisch Riding Clubs.

This may, however, be renewed at a later date, subject to the release of the new harmonized invention. The BE and the BTES (British Equestrian Trade Association) will continue to work together on a Hutamnestie. BE spokesperson said the organization is working on the new 2016 campaign and further information will be available "as soon as possible".

The BE Hats standard for 2016 are as follows: Equestrian clubs - all hats will be re-labelled in 2016, with no hats manufactured exclusively to (BS) EN 1384 being labelled or approved for use. Hats manufactured exclusively in accordance with (BS) EN 1384 may no longer be used after 31 December 2015.

BHS-approved centres will no longer be allowed to use hats manufactured exclusively to (BS) EN 1384 from 1 January 2016. UK Show Jumping Hats - Hats manufactured exclusively to (BS) EN 1384 are not approved. UK Dress Up - allowed (BS) EN 1384 hats in 2016.
