The horses for immediate sale will be sold through a live auction. The Socks is an imported obstacle horse from England. STEEPLECHASE TO SELL PICKS UP SPEED Selected group of thoroughbreds will form the catalog for the second yearly Go Jazz Race Steeplechase Sale on Sunday, April 10 at the Great Meadow Racecourse in The Plains, Virginia. Dozens (and counting) of horses, all of them either actual obstacle runners or selected for their potentials as such, are part of a new concept aimed at arousing interest and influencing the horse population in the US jumping race.

There are two different horse sizes available - buy now or sell stocks. Horse for immediate sale will be auctioned off via a real time sale. The horses will be available in all cases, most of them for training and/or schooling via a fence in the mornings. The things start when the doors open at 8:30 a.m. Horses canter, learn and pull from 9:00 a.m. to lunch.

Presented by Joe Clancy of thisishorseracing.com, the event will feature Terry Finley of West Point Thoroughbreds, obstacle trainer Richard Valentine and Kate Dalton, obstacle course owners Meriwether Morris and vet Dr. Reynolds Cowles.

Sales start at 14:30. The sale is free and open to the general public as well as lunches can be purchased. Tenderers must be registered before the sale and can do so on the spot. At the same time, it will help bringing together existing owner s/trainers to buy and trade horses, resulting in an increase in the number of horses in the match and the possibility of greater involvement.

Three times hurdler Selection Sunday, part of the legacy of main shareholder Andre Brewster, leads the group. He won a beginner's bet and earns $116,100 over a fence and will be willing to race again this autumn. Two steep pursuit novices are no less attractive. The Command Control is a half-brother of the stylish Ironicus, Norumbega, Hunting, Quiet Harbor, Minister's Joy and Seal Cove family.

Coach Willie Dowling has prepared the rookie, who has a chance this year to take a step back. The 4-year-old nevertheless placed himself three places on the plain and looks like an excellent obstacle perspective. He is a half-brother to grade 1 champion Pyro and six other victors on the family tree side. Lead coach Jack Fisher prepares three horses for sale and also looks forward to being a purchaser at the sale.

Other on the Malibu Moon 4 year old Extensible, a $250,000 annual who not so long ago was not too long ago, the youngest wood-converted Duc de Sovoie, the athletic obstacle runner Zol Zayne, the nine-time apartment gold medallist WĆ¼rstgold and two former Kieron Magee apprentices (both apartment winners) Doc Cebu and the Argentinian importer Phineus. This 4-year-old comes from the Aga Khan breed programme and has won twice on the plain.

Coaching Jazzy Napravnik is also seeking partner for Jesse O, a 4-year-old, agreeably perfect gelding, while Riverdee Stable is offering portions of the hurdles outlook Judy Holiday. Coach Doug Fout has no horses on offer, but he loves advancement and sees it as a big leap forward. The sale, led by NSA's Promotion and Growth Committee, took place last year at Shawan Downs in Maryland and is very much in work. In 2015, the sale included the rental of the relay horses to a new partner, Hockey Pop, and the sale of the later woodcutter Hockey Pop.
